Brussels West – Tallinn City, 23th October 2020 – Flxion, the tool that gets all meetings into action and makes hybrid working fluid, is launched today. Now that home working is back, many companies are confronted with the downside of the video meeting: the lack of informal and post-meeting contact undoes the efficiency of the shorter meeting time. That’s why Flxion adds a meeting report window next to the video and increases the effectiveness of online meetings … and improves the progress of most companies.

Flxion is here
Today the Belgian-Estonian company Flxion is launching their meeting management tool. This start-up is one of the initiatives from ImpactBuilders Ideation & Venturing division. ImpactBuilders wants to bring companies to a higher energetic level. Most companies gradually progress at the pace of their meetings. A huge amount of time is spent on meetings, but it is unclear how much results are coming out of them. Flxion is designed to get all your meetings into action, whether the team is all under one roof or working remotely.
Online meeting – efficient or effective?
The whole of Europe is now into home working. Digital meetings are shorter and therefore seem to be more efficient. The main question, however, is “are they effective?” Do we really get more done? In digital meetings, we see less body language, and we have less space to share ideas. Afterwards, there is less informal contact time to reflect and understand what was really agreed. The result is that we see a lot of small apparently efficient meetings, that actually lead to nowhere.
Getting all meetings into action
What you have to do is appoint a secretary, who writes a short report of the meeting. The secretary should frequently ask if all the attendees agree on the conclusions in the report. And understand what is expected of them after the meeting. That’s where Flxion comes in. It allows the secretary to set up a second screen in which the report is shared live with all of the attendees. As the report grows live on screen, all tasks are allocated and agreed upon. This second screen can be on a different device like a tablet to leave full view on the faces of the attendees, who are meeting over Zoom, Teams, Webex or whatever conference software.
